Short-term-price-chasing trades, which makes delude yourself as a wise one, are speculations.  It is a free to choose either to invest or to speculate, but consequence cannot be a free.  A desire to speculate makes one endlessly trades dangers but makes oneself fall into a delusion of doing invest, and makes one repeat the routine endlessly but makes oneself lost the way to step ahead.  From not to speculate is where invest starts.  Chasing price is speculation, while holding long term outcomes of firms are investment.  Speculations are dangerous trades, while investments are businesses of holding after purchasing.
